I never thought this through before.
But now there’s knocking on my door.
It’s finally here.
It feels so strange, and yet so right.
But as I step into the light,
I see no way clear.
Caught in a time.
Trapped in a moment waiting,
To see my destiny unfold.
To face the past,
Accept the consequences,
In a meeting with my soul.
It seems so real but as I wait,
And from the dream I start to wake.
It’s changing again.
There’s no more worries, no more fear.
But then I start to shed a tear,
For those who remain.
Caught in a time.
Trapped in a moment waiting,
To see my destiny unfold.
To face the past,
Accept the consequences,
In a meeting with my soul.
And so I wait with silent breath.
No more of life, nor yet of death.
Suspended in time.
Is this my future or my past?
Will this transition be my last?
To deliver me home.
I never thought this through before.
But now there’s knocking on my door.
It’s finally here.
It feels so strange, and yet so right.
But as I step into the light,
I see no way clear.
Caught in a time.
Trapped in a moment waiting.
To see my destiny unfold.
To face the past,
Accept the consequences,
In a meeting with my soul.
